February 2023
I am finalizing details for the Geigle and Moeller Family to trace roots and travel mid March to Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, the Baltic Sea and continue south to Göttingen, Württemberg and finally to Munich. This family history tour was long planned and now everybody is happy that we can actually go. Family history covers late 18th century to post WWII cronicles. This will be the start into the 2023 season.
End of March will see myself with German fellow travelers from New York City all the way to Charleston SC. Included is a visit in Norfolk VA within a sistercity program with the city of Wilhelmshaven in Northern Germany.
September 2022
The last tour this year is with Elden Hartmann and his family to the Black Forest, Württemberg and Bavaria. Like almost all travel during 2022 this tour had likewise to be postphoned before. Now we are happy to go back on the road and explore the family's black Forest clockmakers tradition.
October is a good time to make plans for 2023. Please send me your thoughts. Even if they are very tentative please contact me since 2023 is close and new travel projects are already in the calender.
August 2022
During August 30 German fellow travelers joined a tour to explore the Midwest. Starting in the Twin Cities we visited South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Illinois to fly home from Chicago. Many historic German communities - most of them with a East Frisian immigration background - and a lot of friendly get togethers were along the way.
All the way a TV team of German PBS from NDR traveled with us. A documentary with 3 x 45 minutes will be broacasted around Christmas.
Summer 2022
Travel is resuming. I could welcome several guests on family history tours in late 2021, 2022, and 2023 over here. Cynthia and Meritt Beischel from Cincinnati started in Oct '21. Rick Bender from Albuquerque came in late April '22. Tom Heuer's group from Colorado and other places attended the Passionplay in May '22. Janet Ruppert and her family from Pensylvania and Marlene Russel traveled in July. August / September saw Rick and Pamela Sayre from Delaware and Susan Stuart from Chicago coming.
As early as in June 2022 I had a yoyful start into a new season as I was lecturing at different places and occasions in the US: The National Conference of the Palatines to America in Denver; the German Society in Sacramento, the Germanic Genealogical Society in Minneapolis St. Paul as well as local heritage societies in Indiana and Kentucky.
March 2021
The IGGP International German Genealogy Partnerschip is hosting it's third international conference. After Minneapolis/St. Paul in 2017, Sacramento 2019 - this year as a virtual event hosted in Cincinnati from July 21-24. Like in the past years you can expect a great get together and interesting presentations of renowned speakers. See pictures of the Sacramento conference: 2019 IGGC Photo Gallery (iggpartner.org)

January 2021
I wish everybody a happy new year. We are patiently awaiting better times and although Germany is in a second lock down until Janury 31 to fight against Covid and although vacination may continue in a slower then expected pace I remain optimstic for 2021.
All tours and excursions that were planned for 2021 are currently redesigned and an updated agenda for 2021 is on it's way in close contact with everybody involved.
Should you have plans for 2021 and 2022 that we have not yet received please contact us at your earliest convenience. At the moment the fall of 2021 and the spring of 2022 is getting congested.
Happy new year and all the best to you.

Fall 2020
Due to the Corona pandemic travel has come to a stillstand almost everywhere. It is our highest priority to assits you with changes and consulting for new plans. At the moment all tours that were planned for 2020 have been postponed and we continue to talk with all guests about new options for 2021. In most cases new travel dates have already been selected. Should these plans require changes again we continue to be flexible and helpful again. We monitore the situation carefully and stay prepared to restart as soon as the situation allows it.
Agreements on deposits, payments or other commitments are made in close communication with our guests. For all cancelations due to Corona travel restrictions client's deposits and payments remain completely refundable.
